The exodus story is later bullshit. No ark. No plagues. No conquest. No Moses. No Joshua. The villages which later coalesced into the northern and southern polities of "israel" and "judah" cam centuries after this particular bullshit story was supposed to have happened and they arose from within Canaan not outside of it.
