Using god logic, god should have sent a torrential flood and drowned everyone in the valley after Uzzah touched the ark.
They have got an explanation for that one; God swore he would never again flood the world with water in the Rainbow Covenant sealed with Noah after the flood.
It doesn't rule out other forms of smiting the entire world, just waterSmiting individuals with water too is still on the table.
The thought of the biblical god being consistent using individual water smiting makes me chuckle.
I could imagine a water spout coming out of the sky or a ceiling and drowning any person god gets pissed at.
In the story of Moses, god could have sent thousands of little water spouts to drown all of the first-born children of Egypt, water spouts would've been popping up in cribs.
