The topic of this thread has been already addressed in his thread. You don't even have to read through 3 full pages to get to the fact that the LHC is not powerful enough to destroy the world. Even the larger one that was started in the U.S. was not nearly powerful enough to do that. (Maybe that is why the U.S. cancelled the project.
