I was wonder who it was that decided science was the opposite of religion. I think it was the worst idea of all time, and created so much misunderstanding for so many people who were not equiped with enough scientific knowledge to know any better. That is why you have Christians that accept young earth creationism, and have a generally negative view of the scientific community, when it never had to be that way. It is definately a 'bummer'.
