They already take a Gospel reading, and preach on "how this can speak to us today" and "how these words can help us reach out to the needy and suffering". So I think that they will change - - a lot. I think that the idea of literal transubstantiation will go by the wayside, and there will be married priests (I already know two.) and female priests. I think that it will become more of a weekend social justice club.
-a wonderful re-use of a worn article. The church could do alot of good if it would stop babbling about god...and shielding rapists. It's an awfully short list, isn't it. It;s almost like they don't give a fuck, can't handle those two things.
