I completely agree with this, and the dance just does not end with religion.
There is this guy at work who considers himself more brilliant than anyone around him, spouting his nonsensical beliefs as though he is chosen to start a new movement. Do not get me wrong, I agree that he has the potential to be a great cult leader.
Most of us at work know he is full of it. His main problem is that he is young, filling himself with all of this hooey, imagining himself as invincible as most young people do.
Psychology readily explains that through which he is going.
Reality will soon enough hit him so hard he will either go to the extreme of darkness or he may just be strong enough to bounce back and finally be normal.
