Here's Why The US is Going Right Down The Shitter

Do you really want Trump to be working towards his agenda????

He doesn't have one, and never did.  He had a marketing campaign built around whetever polled in his target demographic at any given place or time, subject to change, no consideration for incompatibilty, inconsistency, justification, or practicality.  Like any faux populist, he promised whatever it was that some dipshit wanted.  If that had been free moonrides for errybody, that would have been his "agenda".  

So, yeah, I'd love to see him work towards his agenda, spinning his wheels and getting nothing done aside from a good run at free moon rides.  Which, conveniently, is exactly what he's been doing. Now the batshit right gets to wear that albatross around their necks for decades. Maybe, if we're lucky, we'll see a third party in our lifetimes. If not, meh, fine, the american "left" is an ever so slightly better breed of corporatist shill. Trump's failure is a huge win for our political future...assuming we can make it from here to there. Just as the failures of traditional conservatism led to a far more liberal "neo-con" movement and a swing in party demographics with last generations voter base..this one has and will contniue to drive people leftward - and the fringes of the right are dying...literally...at an ever-increasing rate. It;s true, ofc, that people lean more right as they age, but the right is moving just as the left moved...so, all in all, I expect a massive shift towards better governance. I consider our current predicament to be the pathetic gasps of a terminally ill legislative body. The american rights schtick, in future generations, will be how to best profit from helping people. How (and what sort of) social programs can pull double duty as both a safety net and an economic engine.
