No I don't need to retract the statement, what you need to do is place the rest of the sentence within the quote, I've been here for over 5 years and seen the posts about the drugs and alcohol, even threads are made about their use and many post to an extent of abuse. I can (regardless of your belief) can keep a decent running percentage in my head so saying many is not at all a stretch.

Doing drugs and alcohol have very little to do with desire or ability to help others. Actually get the fuck off your high horse and go down to the local soup kitchen and just see how many druggies and alkies are helping out.

On these issue you can't convince me that the use of drugs and alcohol do not effect peoples caring for others, rexbeccarox is the exception to this. I've lived that life for many years and have seen the effect and experienced the effect they have on people. That's why I work to help people when they come to the end of their ropes and see no way out.
The ones at the soup kitchens are few compared to the to the rest who are own the streets, and the ones who are helping are usually trying to rid themselves of their addictions and mostly through the help of Christians. Were I live the homeless come from many other areas of the country to live here because of the Christians that work to help them, the street ministry here is large and mostly Christian based. The people off my area are loving and giving people we care for the under homeless. This is enough of this because these were not the people I was referring to. I referred to those who respond at this site and then the ones I've known over the years and believe me they have been many. I'm not on any high horse, I've been there and try and help those who want out of that life. Your problem is that you want to read into my post what you want to hear, probably to start an argument or flex your muscles, flex away because I do not care about your petty problem with me.

You are a poor fucking excuse for what you profess christianity is all about.  Some fucked up example you are.  All you have done is verify what is said of religion by a lot of atheists here and you wonder why no one wants to believe in that shit.  You need to clean up your own backyard before you start bitching about ours.

Well the above statement by you is an Ad hom and I see little to respond to. I will say I've been working to clean up my back yard for many years and God has been their for me all the way, I have much farther to go but, I can tell you this and have above, since dropping my alcohol and drugs and smoking also, I have a greater care for others, why, because I do not seek that self pleasure any more and receive a greater pleasure of helping and seeing others cleaning up their lives. You see I understand what rexbeccarox feels when I'm able to help others.
