Just like you cannot dis-prove the pagan religion or the vikings religion. You are already an atheist since you dis-believe in th god thor and the god mars. Death is the end of biological function. We are biological and we can be turned off. You assume you know there's an afterlife but you do not know. You believe it.
Death is simple. Death is the end of your existance, it's as easy as that.
You will know this when your time comes.....actually...you won't because you would no longer be aware of your own end since you would no longer exist. You cannot command reality and you cannot change it. Death is coming and you cannot avoid your own end. Beliefs is the only thing you hold to, to keep yourself from seeing the end of the road.
