RE: Questions About the Rapture

Would you like to explore the usage of this imagery in the text - and the differences between such usage and a doctrine built upon it or the use of the word "rapture" that is connected solely to that doctrine and only leveraged after it's invention, or is this just an opportunity for pious chicanery? I'm entirely uninterested in the latter, if that doesn't immediately jump out at you from my comments.
