Partially sliced 17 pounds of those tomatoes, then boiled them to remove the skins. Started this process around 8 last night. Drained most of the water off. Now reducing the tomatoes further, after chopping them up, in order to make a partial paste/sauce. When all is said and done, I will end up with about 20-25 pounds of sauce from 35 pounds of tomatoes. $12.00 isn't a bad investment for all of that. Need to get some canning jars today so I can can it all up for my pantry.
