Who said Jesus couldn't write or didn't?
According to John 8 Jesus wrote enough in the sand to shut the pharisees up.
So why didn't he write a gospel?
His ministry was 3 years from start to finish, when do you think he would have done this? Then with what writting stock, and on who's authority? Authority was key here as it ensured preservation in a scriptoium/library. as you can imagine papyrus was at best delicate if not handeled properly. Jesus was a rouge authority who was hated by the governement and religion which were the only two authroity who would ensure proper care and transfer of documented materials. Even if Christ's writtings were accepted by the jews and held in their scriptorum, Rome in around 70AD burned the temple and it's scriptorums.
So again just because we do not have the gospel of Christ doesn't mean Jesus wrote nothing down... Read the 4 gospels we do have, some of it was from the first person perspective/Christ talking to God, Christ talking to the Devil/being tempted when no one else was around.
