Quote:A bride-to-be's dream of being the fourth generation of her family to be married at a Welsh church has been shattered after it was announced the dilapidated building would have to close. Emily Morton is now staging a sit-in protest at All Saints Church, along with 50 villagers in Maerdy, Rhondda Valleys, because she will not accept the vicar's news that her wedding ceremony is off, the Daily Mail reports.Am I the only one who sees the justice in having a ceiling beam fall on her fucking head?
Or that the marriage should be more important than where it is held? Such 'traditions' are how organised religions get started: 1) I do it this way because my parents before me did. 2) Someone codifies it. 3) Someone else enforces the code under penalty. 4) It becomes organised, with non-followers killed, driven out, &c.
