When did I say it wasn't?

Actually, they're not. In one post you criticize Catholics for being clueless about Christianity, that they don't know even how to read and then in the next post you praise their educational facilities - needles to say that you contradict yourself because your arguments are just weak ad-hoc gibberish that even you don't take seriously.
The second thing is that Church did not invent the calendar but rather did a little improvement on Julian calendar and called it Gregorian calendar and it took them 300 years to do it. In 1263 Roger Bacon wrote a letter to the pope asking him to adjust the calendar and then in 1582, the Pope made the necessary changes with the advice of the German astronomer, Christopher Clavius. What he did is he decreed a change in the Leap Year system. Every fourth year was still to be Leap Year, but with a few exceptions. Years that ended in a double were not to be Leap Years unless they were divisible by 400. AND that's it - all the rest is the Julian calendar.
But as I said earlier, other Christianities didn't accept the calendar because they considered Catholics as idiots - just as you do in other posts when it suits you, you ad-hoc clown. Denmark and the Protestant parts of Germany and the Netherlands adopted the Gregorian calendar in 1700, but England did not adopt it until September 2, 1752. For many years afterward, the people of England kept both calendars, even though only the Gregorian Calendar was official. Also Greek Orthodox Church itself still refuses to accept the Gregorian Calendar to this day.
But if you want to talk about perfection the Gregorian Year is not perfect, it adds 25 seconds a year and actually Soviet government has adopted a new arrangement of Leap Years that is even more accurate than the Gregorian arrangement.

We are all talking about the same things even same source or you will insist on a source that real makes no never mind to us, but because you think you've named something differently it no longer exists the way God says it does. Do you understand what shakespeare meant when he said a rose by any other name would smell jut as sweet?
He means it is not what you call a rose that gives it it's smell. it is what the rose is that makes it smell sweet, so no matter how we understand it the rose or in this case the principles are the same.
The only difference is because you can identify HOW God does something in the natural world it some how precludes God... When in fact it only points to him more indepthly. All your relabeling does it show you how archaic your understanding of an all powerful God has to is. It shows you to be the fool that think God has to be magic in everything he does and creates but if man can understand how the trick works it can't be of God...
Do you even know what you're talking about here? In any case it probably doesn't have to do anything with this topic. It doesn't even have anything to do with my post that you're quoting which was already part of a awry from the topic.

Hmm, I don't know about that. Sure that some monks over the millennia discovered something here and there but that doesn't mean that the Church was pursuing science. Hell, by that logic you could say that shepherds used to pursue science because the first magnet was discovered by a Cretan shepherd named Magnes 4000 years ago.

I'm railing against god because I said how Jesus instructs you to pluck out your eyes if you look at a woman and think she's good looking and then cut off their limbs; as well as live like a bird because God provides the necessities of life - seems rather like you're avoiding to face the nonsense of the Bible and blame me for it.
