White people are "defending themselves" when they play Rambo. Black people don't have the right to say "I don't want to die" even when unarmed.
Tonto, " I fully support your right to oppress me. Just make it look like you care."
In related news The 80s rock band Foreigner put out a new song, "Country Club Hero".
And just so we are clear, I was agreeing with you and being sarcastic to the person you responded to.
My point was that Lek says the protestors were trespassing on Karen and Kyle's property. Unless they own the whole damn neighborhood, including the street, it's not their property.
Even if someone was walking across their lawn without permission, that is not worth a death sentence.
Ted Bundy deserved what he got. My having to cut through yards to get to a strip mall to go to a Chinese restaurant or gas station does not deserve death.
It was the middle of the day, tons of cameras recording. That couple had nothing to fear. They simply didn't like times changing.
I am agreeing with you. Even if they were trespassing on Karen' and Kyle's property, context matters. And in the middle of the day in the context of a protest, is not the same as someone breaking into your house to rob you in the middle of the night.
Karen and Kyle were simply pissed that black people had enough abuse and wanted to say "stop abusing us."
