The whole question of where do we go when we die is a lack of understanding of what we are and what death means.
It's like asking "What year will I be transported to, back in time, when I jump off this cliff ?"
I'm just really fascinated by the idea that when people jump off cliffs, they travel back in time to live some other amazing life.
It's like the person who believes this doesn't have a full understanding that when you jump off a cliff, you aren't magically transported back in time. You fall to your death. Gravity takes you down. There is no magical time portal that is activated the moment you jump off a cliff.
And when you die, there is no magical portal that takes your consciousness somewhere.
When you die, you die. You are dead. That's it.
