I don't think you even understand what the extremists' interpretation is, let alone where they got it wrong. Besides, I am telling you if one acknoweldges some evidence about something yet continues to deny it, one definitely deserves a spot on a shitlist. A person who is mentally sane and therefore knows, for example, what would murdering another person would bring down on him, yet commits the crime, does deserve to be thrown to jail, what's so hard to understand or accept about that ?
Someone who acknowledges an all powerful creator who watches his every move, warns him of the consequences of denial in very clear and vivid terms, to whom he's going after a death that can occur any second, yet pretend knowingly he doesn't exist, probably just prefers punishment over losing some of his pride.

You're telling me that the people on the shitlist, which exists, deserve exactly what the extremists say.  You think they finger the wrong people..but by your own criteria, that's false.  They get it right, and you agree with them, you just don't like the association - because that, in your mind, is the problem, and not your shared principles.

Silly objections would be the right description here. Any system of beliefs, including Islam, includes complete submission to the deity. Doubting the veracity of the belief system makes more sense than rebelling against God's commands while acknoweldging evidence in favor of his existence. If a supernatural agent exists and decides to punish you if you don't do X, the smart decision here is simply to do X.

I have a system of beliefs that doesn't include the validity of human property.  In fact, the entirety of western civilization has a system of beliefs that doesn't include the validity of human property.  Here again you show that no one is mistaken about islam, you are mistaken about your audience.

People are eager to acknowledge an authority based on it's right-making properties and good deeds. That would be your in - not this bullshit. It's up to you whether you want to affirm peoples objections to your religion, ofc. If what you intend to do is correct peoples objections based on silly misapprehensions, otoh, then you should probably stay out of the business of telling them that they've got islam exactly right and affirming the validity of that objection as an article of your faith.
