But you miss the point. The attack on the US Capitol was violent, the vast majority of BLM protests were not. Your Constitution give you the right of peaceful protest, it doesn't give you the right to breach your seat of government and injure 140 cops in the process.

Way to cherry pick.....
Compare one protest against an entire years worth......
The left ( not you in particular) has made a mountain out of a molehill for political gain. ( note delaying this shitfest to get it closer to midterms).
They like claiming 5 deaths.
How many do YOU??
Comparing one protest to an entire year’s worth isn’t cherry-picking, and it’s something you’ve done yourself.
I’m sorry - you consider a concerted effort to overturn a free and fair election to be a molehill?
I don’t doubt the timing of televising the hearings has a political aspect (what doesn’t?), but that’s hardly its chief purpose.
I’m comfortable with claiming that one person - Ashli Babbit - died during the insurrection. I think a case (albeit a shaky one) could be made that others who died after the riot from natural causes had conditions that were exacerbated by either participating in the attack or trying to prevent it.
