Atheists will worship the Antichrist:

2 Thessalonians 2:7-12 (NKJV) 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains [will do so] until He is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the [lawless one] is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.


Revelation 13:4-8 (NKJV) 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who [is] like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” 5 And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. 6 Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. 7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Atheists become Theists:

Revelation 16:8-11 (NKJV) 8 Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. 9 And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory. 10 Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain. 11 They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds.

Do you really want to defend that book? 


The head character you call "God" sanctioned his loyalists to MURDER the firstborn males of Egypt, that is called infanticide. The story as you know it is called "Passover". What if our modern American Judges in court did the same thing? What if a sitting Judge not only sentenced a bank robber to 20 years, the judge sent law enforcement out to murder his firstborn too? I would hope you would not find that moral. 

This same head character watched as one of his loyalists got drunk and slept with his daughters. If you claim God is "all seeing" then that means he never stops watching. It means God watches you pee and poo and have sex. 

And then there's the global genocide depicted in the flood myth. Numbers vary as far as estimates of global population for antiquity, but it still would have been in the 10s of millions if not up to 100 million. But for example's sake we can lowball it to merely 10 million globally. 

So Noah gets the word from the big guy to build a boat so God can murder 10 million humans minus the 7 or 12 of the Noah family, depending on which account you believe. 7 people or 12 people is still a limited gene pool, but I will get to that problem in a minute. 

So 9.9 million people suck water into their lungs and drowned, which is an extremely painful way to die. But that 9.9 million would have to include innocent babies, toddlers and even teens and adults who's only crime was not kissing God's butt. 

I do not understand the logic in carpet bombing a population if your beef is with a select few, especially when you are all powerful and can be surgical in your approach. 

Remember that limited gene pool I mentioned earlier? Who did the family have sex with to repopulate the planet if you claim they were the only one's left?  Seems to me that limited number would end up forcing the survivors, whom are family, to eventually do the mattress dance together. That doesn't bother you? 

And then there is the animal welfare too. Even there the accounts differ, in pairs of two, or up to 7 of each species. But even then, that boat would not have been big enough to house even just 2 of each species with the technology they had back then. Not even a modern super tanker could house every species total populations as a collective. That also means helpless animals would drowned too. I don't support animal cruelty, I would hope you do not either.

But even without Animal cruelty, can you explain without the gap answer of "poof" how Australia's kangaroos got across the Indian Ocean to make their way to Egypt where the myth claims it was built in in the Sinai desert. Then cross all the mountains back to the Indian Ocean to swim back to Australia. 

And a global flood for 40 days, if it were possible, would still suffocate most land plant life and kill it based on the parameter of 40 days,  just like holding someone's head under water. Most land plant life cannot survive being submerged for over a month. Most plant life cant even survive that long.  Only certain species of plant life can adapt to being both aquatic and land. And also, very few aquatic life can go back and forth from fresh water to salt water. A global flood would kill most fresh water aquatic life because the ocean is full of salt water. And vice versa. Most salt water aquatic life cannot live in fresh water. Point is a global flood would cause a mass extinction of many species, and many humans would need to survive on. 
 

The majority of people now dead in our species history were not Christians, our global population is mostly other religions when you combine all non Christian religions. 

Now, a dose of reality for you. On average, worldwide, per year, an average of 50 to 60 million humans die from everything at all ages. We can die in the womb, we can be stillborn, we can die from childhood diseases, or famine or crime or war, as well as adults too. Humans still ultimately die from old age if they make it that far, the trip ends the same. 

I would advise you to know it isn't as simple as copy and paste with us. We are not impressed in the least with circular reasoning. Quoting the Bible is self serving and circular. It isn't based on anything objective. You are just being an apologist. Always keep in mind, most atheists have thought about that book, read that book, and are familiar with it's content and the contradictions and absurdities and fantastic claims that science has long since debunked. 

You are on the playing field of well informed thinkers, and we do not simply buy because you sell.
