Yeah, maybe the OP should have stated it like this:
[P1] If there is no good evidence for God then God is unlikely to exist
[P2] There is no good evidence for God
[C] Therefore God is unlikely to exist
Because, as bad as it is, anecdotal evidence is still evidence.
Tthe philosophical arguments (Kalam, teleological, ontological, presup) don't count, because they are all either unsound or invalid.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
