Minor dilemma...guy at work simply won't enter his hours before 'closing' payroll so that I can pull numbers for a report I have to prepare. A couple months ago he closed payroll but didn't enter any hours for himself. I had to ask him to reopen payroll and enter his hours. Last payday he had put down that he wanted to use his 1/2 day (a perk for a couple of the office people every month) but he had entered not only 40 hours each week but also overtime for each week. So I asked if he wanted to waste his half day. He reentered his hours for what I have to guess were the correct ones and it was fewer hours than he had claimed to start with.
Every week I remind him and another guy to enter their hours. Last week Princess BadMood sent me a message saying not to remind him any more as he has a system in place. Today he has no hours entered for last week and it's so damn tempting to not say a word and just let him work for a week for the funzies of it.
I went over his head and asked the general manager to help.
The Princess is in a mood that I assume is due to the hiring of another office person and me doing more and more of his job just to get things done.
We won't mention that he completely skipped invoicing one day week before last. This is a mess for cash flow and also for customers who are expecting to be charged the day after service. I had to ask him about that but at least didn't get my head bitten off for it.
