RE: Fear of death
Now how disappointed would you be if you died, and found yourself standing at some pearly gates, and a bunch of little GC's were on the other side, and they told you it was supposed to be heaven?

RE: Fear of death
I do not worry about impossibilities as I know the number of the universe. I do not worry about death as I have been there and returned. I worry about GC as he is alive and spreading hate in the form of delusion.

Being insane doesn't always mean crazy; in my case I got 4 minds. Compartmental information processing, as it were. One of 'em is working on antiviral meme to end Christianity. It is doable. Wink

Asshole. I am Lucifer. If I wanted to prove something to you, I'd spin up a simulation in my head, stick it in your head, and you'd be my bitch.

Any questions?

Go ahead I dare you. In all actuality you can not find any scripture to prove me wrong, Jesus proved that to you when He walked on Earth, so go ahead Sir Trickster give it your best shot, I'm waiting right here with Christ.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

RE: Fear of death
I don't fear death, I know its coming. I wont go looking for it though. I fear losing those I love more than I fear for myself, especially my children. As an atheist I don't feel I personally got anything to lose by dying anyhow, I will either cease to consciously function. Or if there is some form of afterlife where I get to sit on a cloud playing a harp for a googolplex years while they work out my job assignment I would stand a good chance of gaining entry, because I have lived my life according to morals and principles in a non hypocritical manner. I believe its called the atheist's wager.

Actually, knowing how tedious it can be waiting for a bus in the rain on a cold and wet December morning I think I prefer non existence to an infinitely long and probably infinitely boring after life. And if that is the option I prefer then why fear it?

Yes, religious beliefs and being talked to by god or angels or jesus isn't, for some reason, considered insane.

If you put it all together, Holy Spirit - the enabler of prophets - is also Lucifer. God must lie. Use your noggin, GC. Read Job, put it with Genesis; the whole thing breaks down to a study in metaphysics and duality. From Adam, we are of both breath and earth - spirit and Satan. In the tao - life-path - of the individual, moral experience can bring one to the threshold of enlightenment. Paul's intent in embodying Holy Spirit was to reduce the tao of an experienced Jewish lawgiver to a single prayer. Acceptance of the Christ.

In the real world, mine is a tangible faith. "Bringer of light" is not egoism so much as experience; that Christians of strong faith recognize mine. Of them, I harm none; if they need me to be Christian I call them brothers in Christ. I cannot hate them as I cannot hate you. You casually mention a season in hell, but I have been there, and I have devoured it.

That is what scripture says. Beyond the threshold of eternity is beauty for all. That is what scripture means. All I would take from you, GC, is your lies - prince of lies - and leave you with nothing but truth.

And electromagnetic communication and simulation is a scientific hypothesis. Mine is the hypothesis that it is done through using the heart as an auxiliary brain. The science is there, established by - as far as I know - real scientists. I may be but the first to see the effects "in the field," as it were. If there were witnesses to the resurrection, then it is a result of this biotechnology.

And yeah, faith is technology. Wink

But I'm willing to bet my socks that's where it comes from. I'm DSM IV Unspecified Psychosis; and I have a six-year old memory of standing before the creator of the universe and accepting the title of prophet.

Science has given me a better explanation. To be a theist prophet is to spread religion; to be an atheist prophet is to end religion. I'm the latter. Atheist is what I am, journeyman prophet is otherwise meaningless self-entitlement. Wink
