Resolutions for 2012

Resolutions for 2012
Does anyone bother making New Years Resolutions? I normally don't because I know how fickle and flaky I can be, but this year I am going to try it.

1. Cut down to less than a pack of cigarettes a day.
2. Try a new recipe once a week.
3. Make more time for volunteering.
4. Let go of some heartache and be more focused on my future.

Anybody else?

RE: Resolutions for 2012
1) Finish my Book
2) Sell My book
3) Write another book
4) Return to school to shoot for astrophysics major
5) Make fun of 2012 Conspiracy theorists when nothing happens next year.

Love the poster.
If today you can take a thing like evolution and make it a crime to teach in the public schools, tomorrow you can make it a crime to teach it in the private schools and next year you can make it a crime to teach it to the hustings or in the church. At the next session you may ban books and the newspapers...
Ignorance and fanaticism are ever busy and need feeding. Always feeding and gloating for more. Today it is the public school teachers; tomorrow the private. The next day the preachers and the lecturers, the magazines, the books, the newspapers. After a while, Your Honor, it is the setting of man against man and creed against creed until with flying banners and beating drums we are marching backward to the glorious ages of the sixteenth centry when bigots lighted fagots to burn the men who dared to bring any intelligence and enlightenment and culture to the human mind. ~Clarence Darrow, at the Scopes Monkey Trial, 1925

Politics is supposed to be the second-oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first. ~Ronald Reagan

Love the poster.

Loving this, hope you achieve the 4 important ones, the fifth, is just a bonus.

I personally do not do resolutions, I'm not the UN and I don't let a new year dictate my life. So fuck off. Smile

I resolve to take a good dump every morning.

That was easy last year. May as well stick with a winner.

RE: Resolutions for 2012
2001 I made a new year resolution of "No more new year resolutions"

Its been well over a decade since and I have still managed to keep that resolution 100% in good faith.
