No, if that's what the world gets for someone trying, then it must be a truly shitty idea.

Your clarity and coherence never had much height from which to fall, and still you contrive to made it fall yet another great distance with each post. This must be what is meant by the miracle of Christianity.

Right, thanks for that GC.
Here's my correction:
Jesus' [willing] sacrifice to god so man so that man would have to sacrifice no more and to therefore cleanse[ing] the sins of humanity.

*sigh* So, it was a sacrifice. The first one implies that it was a willing sacrifice. The second option says it was not a sacrifice at all because he was willing. Hope that clears things up.

The first option does not say it was not willing. Good grief. I should never have tried for a straight answer from Christians. No offense, but you guys are a bunch of smoke talkers.

Yep. That is what it sounds like to me. Anything to avoid saying God took a human sacrifice while centering your entire belief structure on the belief that Jesus was a human sacrifice.

The thing is your second option made the first option seem like it was not a willing sacrifice, we wanted to make sure everyone understood that Christ was willing. No a human was not sacrificed, Christ was the only perfect man and this is an important part of Christianity also, Christ was God in human flesh, Christ being fully human and fully God made him no ordinary human. Not trying to be a smoke talker, adding important details.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

I still don't think his "sacrifice" was willing... He was gonna get killed either way. Of course, the easy way to keep up the bollocks is to say it was a sacrifice. It was an simple way to bullshit your way out of "God" getting killed.
It still isn't much of a sacrifice anyway. That is a problem with being immortal

It doesn't matter if you think he was "perfect." He was still a man. It also doesn't matter if he was willing. If you think it was a sacrifice, willing or not, pick one. Duh.
