LMAO. I my kids!!!
I your kids too!

Every fucking religion has the same line of shit. They all think they are special.
Apart from Hinduism / Sikhism. They're not too bad on all the inter-religion stuff.
On the topic of the videos, they are quite sickening. This is a prime example of Richard Dawkins' idea that religion is a form of abuse.
I guess it depends what side of the riot you happen to be on.

More proof that religion is bad for young ones.
If you think that it's okay to judge a whole religion based on the acts of a couple people, then I totally understand why you are an athiest.

If you don't understand why religion is harmful to children, then I totally understand why you're a christian.
It teaches myths as facts.

This post is so misplaced.
1. Kichigai referenced specific parents by saying quote, " ...THESE religious parents." This is not a generalization of all religious parents.
2. She never makes a generalization about religion. She wrote quote, " MORE proof that religion is bad for young ones." She did NOT write, "All christians are bad."
3. The only person making a generalization here is you, writing a non-sequitur about atheists. You don't have to be an atheist to judge a whole religion. I've met hundreds of christians who judge Islam based on people they've only heard of.
Your whole statement is just kind of odd and out of place.
At any rate, I now know what to shorten your name to when conversing with you, Flake.

I see what he's saying. There were some posters saying "sick xtians", which sounds very generalized.
At the same time, there is a certain point where believing in something actually makes you a bad person. (Such as believing that all Jews should die.) I don't think that most religion has reached that point yet, but it's getting closer.

Agreed ... many of us on this site, including myself have made broad generalizations of christians, muslims, etc., usually to toss a mild insult or to show disdain for the religion in general. My point is not that the post couldn't be accurate, it just wasn't accurate where it was being used, and the statement itself was tu quoque.

You don't think that most religions have reached what point Aegrus? Hatred? That's the pool they slithered out of. We have a bunch of religious pansies traipsing about the world nowadays, beliefs heavily influenced by a few thousand years of cultural development (and progress). They aren't getting worse, they've been steadily getting better. This is why the hate groups you see so often attached to religions are usually fundamentalists, they long for a return to that good ole'timey bigotry that their grandparents told them about.

That video is fucking creepy.
