One of the sites that I write for is holding a contest known as "America Inspired." The finalists will receive a cash prize, as will the subjects of their articles. I believe the subjects get the bulk of the money. At any rate, I did not participate in the contest, so this is not about me winning anything. Right now, they are figuring out who the winners will be through votes. You will have to create a login to vote, but I think it is worth it.
My vote went to this fine gay young man for the youth inspired section. Of course, you can vote for whoever you want, if you decide to vote. I simply think this kid is the cat's meow.

I did some work feeding folks in Boston and I know it isn't easy. The sacrifice one had to go to the guy working with people with PTSD. I have a soft spot for PTSD sufferers. I'll stop rambling now.
