Last I checked, Ron Paul was all those things too and was an actual Republican (in third place as well).

The closer he gets to number 1 on the republican ticket, the greater Obama's chances of winning another term. It isnt anything personal R... thats just how America rolls.
If only Rick Santorum's mother had used birth control...

Mitt Romney, the front runner holds the same beliefs as Rick Santorum on this matter, and would support legislation to ban the human right to plan their futures, and their families. With this, of course, would be a ban on abortions, and there would literally be no way out of an accidental pregnancy. Not prevention, not protection, not termination- nothing. Women are nothing to these slimy fuckwads, but machines for making babies the way god and the bible intended. Firstly Roe vs Wade needs to be overturned before the federal government can be able to enforce such legislation. You are lucky to have an activist court system in the United States. We don't in Australia and only state (mine) has legal on demand abortion. Indeed in one state they actually tried a couple recently for having an abortion. http://www.abc.net.au/pm/content/2010/s3036539.htm Also I do not know if Mitt Romney really holds the exactly same views as Rick Santorum, let alone be willing to put such policies into implementation if he was president.

You'd actually have to "overturn" the 4th Amendment since that is what the ruling was based on. The government has absolutely no need to know what goes on between you & a doctor. They couldn't prove it then & they can't prove it now. Also, & I reiterate, Rick Santorum needs to get hit by a bus.
