I love the way xtians trivialize their alleged 'god.' As if a fucking football game was important enough to warrant divine intervention.
Assholes.

Well this is exactly what the comedian guy was saying. How is inspiring someone to throw a fucking ball more important than solving world hunger, eliminating disease, getting rid of cancer and stopping all war?
Bullshit to the highest degree.

Christians have always needed a hero to inspire them. They find a good candidate, adjust the facts and add inspirational music whenever they can. Tim Tebow is just the latest in a long line of hero's. At least no one voted this one into political office.
I have studied the Bible and the theology behind Christianity for many years. I have been to many churches. I have walked the depth and the breadth of the religion and, as a result of this, I have a lot of bullshit to scrape off the bottom of my shoes. ~Ziploc Surprise

Well I suppose if Pat Robertson were on the job here he would say that God is all powerful. He is just as capable of helping people in Africa who are suffering from fairly curable diseases but are too poor to afford medical care as he is of helping this Tebow guy. The reason why he chooses to bless Tebow is because is America is a nation that is blessed by god, and it is blessed because of it's long history of upholding and obeying Christian principles, blah...blah...blah.. Africa, on the other hand is cursed because they refuse to give up their witchcraft and wizzardry, and the apatosauruses that are living in the Congo. Aids was a warning to them....god is slowly giving them over to the Muslims blah blah blah. It sucks to be you, you people of the dark continent. Turn to god and give me money.
