When Australia becomes a Republic, Australia Day should changed to that day when we became a Republic. Until then I will not celebrate the founding of the City of Sydney (which Australia day really is).

Oh well commiserations for Invasion Day then.
It's not as if their issues are ignored on the day, as I hear The Stiff Gins finishing a song on RN. It seems half (maybe 2/5) the issues on the radio news today are indigenous issues. I've never been a nationalistic person, a country is a mix of the good and the bad, we are better than some, not all we could be and people don't agree on what better is.
