No, that was the host what brought that point up.

Douchbaggery does not imply religion and vice versa. Assholes come in all flavors.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

That guy mark has called before, so there's that. But in any rate, he called an Atheist show and claimed 99% of rapes are false because he is a man, thats the kind of deep seeded misogyny from the religious texts. I would bet my life on it that he's a bible banging Christian or something of the sort, but that's my opinion I guess.

Wow.
I really hope that guy wasn't genuine. I feel sick.
"No-one who decides that scientific evidence is not for him and that his own experience or the stories of others is the be all and end all of deciding what's true ever has the right to call people searching for reliable, repeatable evidence narrow-minded. That is hypocrisy of the most laughable kind." Derren Brown - Tricks of the Mind.

"Sisters, you know only the north; I have traveled in the south lands. There are churches there, believe me, that cut their children too, as the people of Bolvangar did--not in the same way, but just as horribly. They cut their sexual organs, yes, both boys and girls; they cut them with knives so that they shan't feel. That is what the Church does, and every church is the same: control, destroy, obliterate every good feeling. So if a war comes, and the Church is on one side of it, we must be on the other, no matter what strange allies we find ourselves bound to."

You see, to Pro-lifers, "life" is a very rare, but vitally important thing, like the Spice in Dune. For the longest time it was assumed to exist only in embryos and fetuses, but around 2005, "life" was found in the body of a brain-dead woman named Terri Schiavo, and many pro-lifers started to work under the assumption that all brain-dead people have this thing called "life." And, of course, people who have been born and whose brains were functioning do not possess "life."

Untrue!
'Only' about 66% of claimed rapes are false, as statistical analyses show. Two-thirds! I.o.w.: a comfortable majority of claimed rapes is complete bullshit IRL.
"He raped me" is – and has been through the ages – a favorite left hook of women who want to lash out at, and knock out one particular guy, or blackmail him. Or of women who use it to convince their partner they were not unfaithful to him but 'forced' to screw this other guy while, in reality, these women were simply playing the field.
Fortunately we now have DNA, which can prove what really happened in most cases.

I always kudos a good Dune reference. I still think he's a POE
"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post
