RE: Hamza Tzortzis
Zakir, do you understand that being scientist is not restricted to working in just one field? As far as scientists are concerned, they each specialise in an area of expertise independent of each other. A chemist, though being scientist, necessarily doesn't understand how physics and biology works. So him believing in god does not reflect the consensus of the entire scientific community. If you do your proper research, you will find out that almost 96% of the scientific community are non-believers (ranging from agnostics to deists). The mere 4% (most of whom keep toggling their beliefs to suit the occasion) can not be used to stereotype the whole scientific community.

Forsaken, this is what George sarton said about Islam.

"It will suffice here to evoke a few glorious names without contemporary equivalents in the West: Jabir ibn Haiyan, al-Kindi, al-Khwarizmi, al-Fargani, al-Razi, Thabit ibn Qurra, al-Battani, Hunain ibn Ishaq, al-Farabi, Ibrahim ibn Sinan, al-Masudi, al-Tabari, Abul Wafa, 'Ali ibn Abbas, Abul Qasim, Ibn al-Jazzar, al-Biruni, Ibn Sina, Ibn Yunus, al-Kashi, Ibn al-Haitham, 'Ali Ibn 'Isa al-Ghazali, al-zarqab, Omar Khayyam. A magnificent array of names which it would not be difficult to extend. If anyone tells you that the Middle Ages were scientifically sterile, just quote these men to him, all of whom flourished within a short period, 750 to 1100 A.D"

Please note this guy is considered to be the founder of Science.

You can find more quotes from Physicists and scientists about the Quran in this link http://www.cyberistan.org/islamic/Introl1.html

First Shaw is a scientist now Sarton is the founder of science? You really should hang your head in shame (or shoot yourself, I really don't care which). Sarton was a chemist and if he "found" anything it is the field of science HISTORY not science itself. Only an idiot with an agenda and an amoral animal would think otherwise.
Anybody else want to waste time going through his link and showing him how maybe 5% (generous estimate) has anything to do with his "Allah's Book Of Fables For Boys And Other Assorted Pedophiles"?

Alright firstly, I never claimed Shaw was a scientist. and Secondly I didn't mean literally Sarton was founder of Science. I just got this bit from Wikipedia as the first sentence on that site is "was a Belgian chemist and historian who is considered the founder of the discipline of history of science."

What I was showing is that these two men are reliable and both claim Quran is miraculous.

You're just a quoteminer, Zak. Sarton was not a muslim. The quote you are using was in the context of explaining where science had come from geographically, and how it had to be introduced several times in the West to take hold. He was not praising islam; you think so simply that I could say that I had a really good falafel and you would call me a muslim. Here is another thing Sarton said, which you neglected to share:

"The most malicious kind of hatred is that which is built upon a theological foundation."

You have no clue how to read information, how to filter it, and how to assess it.
