Finally the TRUE answer to why we have so many religions!

I think I'll just go and throw up and then slash my wrists... what nonsense!
"The Universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements: energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest." G'Kar-B5
Question: "Do they also go to hell for that? "
Answer: "No one goes to Hell because he didn’t hear about Christ. The unsaved person goes to Hell not so much for anything he did, but for what he is. The unregenerate person is unrelentingly hostile towards God. There’s the saying that “Hell’s doors are locked, but from the inside.” What this means is that the unsaved, unregenerate person doesn’t want anything to do with God, and if given the choice between Heaven and Hell, they would choose Hell." Me: So let me get this straight, the person who NEVER heard of Jesus does not go to Hell? Im assuming he goes to heaven? If so, then why tell so many people about Jesus and risk them turning Christ down? If you REALLY believed this, then why would you try to evangelize? In this situation ignorance litterally means eternal bliss.
So this person is getting a sexual high from all this??
I wanz some!!

Quote:If so, then why tell so many people about Jesus and risk them turning Christ down? You can't apply logic to the illogical, Rev. What it comes down to is that they just like to hear themselves talk. It is also a lucrative profession for the preachers.
There are so many different religions, but they've been lucky enough to be born into the right religion. Sure.
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.
I, like all others, was born into atheism.

Nearly every single christian I've talked to uses this line as their excuse for people going to hell who had never even heard of Jesus. "Well, the bible says even the rocks cry out, so they had the opportunity to know god through nature." One of the only times I've seen a christian back away from this line is when I'm talking to a Universalist.

I have studied the Bible and the theology behind Christianity for many years. I have been to many churches. I have walked the depth and the breadth of the religion and, as a result of this, I have a lot of bullshit to scrape off the bottom of my shoes. ~Ziploc Surprise
Religion was implemented long ago to help create more issues between race and beleifs. Nearly all religion's were brought upon people by conquorers, if you accept the deity of another people, you become those peoples spiritual prisoner.
Live every day as if already dead, that way you're not disappointed when you are.
