RE: Poll: Do your beliefs match those of your peers?

I chose the option "My peers are non religious and I'm non religious*".
Even though my parent are non-religious are they not defining themselves as atheists. My brother define himself as agnostic but that's another story. My mother is a littlebit into new age things however, like ghosts and such things. My father don't have any opnions about religion more then it more less causes hate and evil.
I'm more defined atheist then anyone in my family. But we are all more or less non-religious. Also I'm the only one who is not an member of the swedish church.

Interestingly... i appear to be the only one who voted in the lower three categories. I supose my vote really depends on how one defines peers. I guess i'll break up each group of my-age persons.
Those i am in a sexual relationship with are atheist.
-Subtracted from next group
Those i am in a close friendship with are predominintly atheist, and a few agnostic.
-Subtracted from next group
Those i am in a friendship with are primarily agnostic, with the odd wiccan or christian.
-Subtracted from next group
People i am quite aquaintenced to are primarily christian, with the odd agnostic or other denomination.
-Subtracted from next group
People i am aquaintenced to are predominently christian. These people don't usually like me...
-Subtracted from next group
Those i don't know by name, but recognize, have usually been christian. Yet these people recognize me???
-Subtracted from next group
The rest of the high school population: almost exclusivly Christian.
So most of my peers are Christians that heavily dislike me, and the few that like me a great deal are primarily non-religious/soon-to-be-non-religious. Hehe, it really depends on how one defines 'peers' om this vote...

Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day

Sadly for me, I'm the only atheist in my classroom of 25. Quite a number (at least half the class) of fervent Christians who not only study the Bible, but preach and convert in its name. Typically enjoy shooting them down when the teacher accidentally lets class discussions slip into theology. Any other atheist I have in the rest of the school has yet to be discovered by me, although hopefully I can attract enough publicity in the upcoming Philosophy Café.
So in the meantime, I'll just try and persuade the yet-to-be-infected souls to read a bit of Nietzsche; what other reading material preaches like Thus!

@ Saerules - What I meant was the peers you aspire to... in your case you're a non believer and aspire to be with non believers.. hence your rationalisations are biased towards atheism from your influences.
