We are at that padraic. The more educated I get, the more I concur that (generally speaking) we are nothing but hairless (monkeys) sorry... .... apes who behave like monkeys, with very fancy 'digital watches'.
Sometimes I begin to wonder if perhaps I AM a misplaced zygote and should have ended up in some other part of this universe. "The Universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements: energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest." G'Kar-B5
I thought Chimpanzees were apes. :LINK:

It's America, so whenever people think about slavery they think of the African slaves that were brought over. Makes perfect sense to use that image. The problem is that rather than reacting to the fact that the Bible clearly condones slavery, they ignore the point of the billboard and take the quote as a racist statement from the owner. The bible verse wasn't written when the African slaves were brought over it was written long before that anyway. Using a picture of an African slave could of been avoided, and the 'racism backlash' could have been anticipated. Yeah, that's the real problem. Like I said, the media only reports what it wants to report.
The only issue I see is that America has a guilty conscience
