Science can't prove that Anubis doesn't exist, but that doesn't mean you should automatically assume that he does.

You would and you could. The faeries look after the dead and if you are a good boy and girl, you will play in the seelie realms for all eternity.
The point that is being made, is that there is no harm in you finding solace in something you have strong faith in, however this does not increase the probability of it being true, merely increases the likelihood you would find the delusion preferential to reality.
Just because you would like something to be true, is not the same as it actually being true.
People find comfort in lots of different religions and beliefs, and obtain the same comfort you find in yours. You would be quick to dismiss their religion despite the fact that they believe as strongly, and are comforted as much.

If you’re going to watch tele, you should watch Scooby Doo. That show was so cool because every time there’s a church with a ghoul, or a ghost in a school. They looked beneath the mask and what was inside?

Please explain to us why you don't believe in any of these. By your logic I can only assume you also believe in all three.

I'm not sure there needs to BE a reason. And if there is one, I definitely cannot fathom it.
This is stupid

So all 3,700 are false except the most well known one in your geographical region?

Other people have said the above statement, specifically the last, isn't true. I agree with them of course, but I'd be interested to know if you have any reasons for thinking this besides "My god is better than your god, nyah!" If that's all your argument boils down to, don't fucking bother - we Jews spout enough of that shit as it is every Friday night.

Mostly because science is a toolkit for understanding how things work and why, not what their inherent meaning is. My meaning is plants. Your meaning is a bunch of words originally written on goat skin. For the Muppets' Pigs in Space, it was ravioli.

I have a better god.
He doesn't care what people do in the bedroom.
He's kind to people for the sake of being kind.
He doesn't want anyone to burn for eternity for a crime.
He doesn't kill people (To my knowledge)
Has a great sense of humor.
He is real!
He is:

V/R,
Christian theist
Then obviously god does not exist, 'cause you still don't know anything.
God exists for the same reason street signs exist, it's an arbitrary coordinate system; and god-bothers have devolved into the same kinda thugs as the Kilby Street posse.
