You speak about mixed ethnicities as they are some kind of disease. You may be purely turkish, but that is no reason to degrade pretty much anyone else. My family has been english since the 10th century, yet I do not act as if I'm somehow better because of it. Embrace the diversity that the new century and it's intermingling has brought us.

Google translate cannot translate it, because this is in Crimean Tatar, a language close to Anatolian Turkish. My grandfather spoke it, as did his father and grandfather.

I am not. I am simply saying that before he judges me on being a mongrel, he should educate himself on what constitutes a mongrel, come back, and tell me that I am one.

And besides, I am embracing diversity. I am embracing diversity by protecting it.
Intermingling with others simply leads to the destruction of diversity. Besides, it only happens in countries like England, America and France anyways.

It does not have to be necessarily the best one. As our founder Atatürk said, "Our goal is to reach the level of the modern civilisations.".
Our ancestry, our history, and our national pride are of course the candles that light our way to this goal. It is known that we are not on the same level with some nations in terms of economy, and technology.
But we do have the potential of becoming even greater than the ones we take as an example on these fields.
This comes only through unity, friend.
By believing in one's nation, and people.
If we would disregard the notion that our nation is a nation to be proud of, and to be loved and cherished, we would have perished long, long ago, and probably withered away amongst the multitudes of foreigners who encircle us.
But we believed that us Turks could archive more than our neighbors could ever archive. And through that, we have created empires from the ashes of old ones, or simply from the start, or declared ourselves kings, whereas we were taken in as slaves.

I'm taking all of these into account when I say that we are one of the greater nations and people on earth, even if we are not the most numerous, most technologically advanced, or economically strong nations.
