RE: Evil Evolutionists
They were asking for it. Angel Cloud
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I deal in terms of numbers and nations.
I measure the worth of my people in what our ancestors have done, and what we can amount to in the future.
I measure my individual worth in how I can be of service to my own people, and how I can aid in creating a better future for them.

Numbers? then china wins.

Many countries have done much more.

Would you consider all German's mass murderers on the actions of their ancestors?

Only your own people? Isn't it more worthy to try to further humanity as a whole?
If china had won, it would have done so against the many foreign dynasties that had ruled it. They themselves knew that their numbers amounted to nothing, as Sun Tzu said, "In battle, numbers alone confer no advantage.".
However, being numerically too small leaves you at a disadvantage. We Turks number about 250 millions on this earth. We're numerically smaller than the Arabs, correct. We're numerically smaller than the Chinese, Europeans, or Slavs. But still not as small as to be swallowed.
That is why the small number of Uyghurs, Salars, Dongxiang and Inner Mongolians survive in China, Turanians are survivors. We were born of harsh conditions. We live our lives according to it, whether we have to suffer a foreing occupation, or an invasion.

And as for *humanity*...Friend, the future of humanity as a whole is of course important.
But one must correct the faults within one's own house first before helping the your neighborhood.
Our house is the Turkish world. Once we have corrected the faults, archived unity, economic stability, a unified language and alphabet, in short, the *red apple*, Turan, we will of course extend our helping hand to the rest of the world.
Not doing so, would be against our character. However, we expect to be treated fairly by the rest of the world at the same time, and until now, we have not been treated fairly. Under these circumstances, I choose to ignore the rest of humanity, until we have archived a sense of unity, brotherhood, and stability within out own people.

Of course, this sounds like a controversial topic, but yes, of course.
If not, why did the Germans pay reparations for things that they themselves did not commit?
These were paid from their own pockets, not from somewhere else.
A nation is accountable for the good and bad deeds of his ancestors. Of course, in the case of Germany, they were forced to pay for the sins of their ancestors, and are still forced to do so, by keeping the EU alive.

Are you, friend?
Tell me, when was the last time you starved yourself to feel more like the poor kids in africa?
IF you are all so sincere about your humanism, why are those people still so hungry? You all do live in first world countries, don't you?
We Turks have always adhered to the philosophy of "do not go to bed with a full belly while your neighbor sleeps hungry."
We are quite capable of empathy.

I don't have time to respond to you fully unfortunately but.

I don't believe the actions of somebodies ancestors have nothing to do with the next generation. Its like a father committing a crime and then punishing not only him but all his children its absurd. Or a father being a war hero and giving his children medals for his actions. Its completely nonsensical. They did nothing.

I actually think this is right. Christians for the most part exhibit no faith whatsoever. Instead, they have absolute certainty that the bible is the literal word of God and that God will act exactly in the manner spelled out by the bible.

By comparison atheists have faith that natural explanations exist and can be found. We have faith that life can be good and meaningful without the help of any helper genie and without the promise of an after life.

But atheism is no religion. Hell, there isn't even a secret handshake so far as I've been able to find out.

Well, they had to pay for it, friend.
Don't tell me this, tell the courts who have forced post WWII Germany to pay reparations.

The post WWI Republic of Turkey, the country I live in, was forced to pay war reparations that the Ottoman empire was sentenced to, minus the land reparations, for which we have fought and won, while, for example, no other former Ottoman territory was forced to pay a penny out of their pockets.
It simply is the rule of the world.
If the younger generations are able to reap the benefits of good things that elder generations left for them, will they not pay for the bad things that their ancestors have done?

Then you won't object if his possessions, his capital – a.k.a. his inheritance – also don't go to his children, I take it? Smile
They did nothing after all...
