Isn't it strange how on the one hand GC can proclaim that all that matters is that you accept jeesus and that your actions don't count.

Yet we bring up shit like this and suddenly they're not "true" christians.
As if their actions DO count.

Strange thatThinking

I've never said actions do not matter, shows how biased your reading of my post are, that is if you read them. Yes there are many false teachers in the world of christianity, and guess what scripture told us this would happen.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

I could name plenty more, starting with the catholic church.

I remember as a teenager in the 80's hearing that you should give 10% to the church, and you will be rewarded tenfold. It never worked, even though the Vatican has vast riches. It's nothing more than a religious pyramid scheme, though you never get anything back from those you give money to.

"You can't put a price on the gifts of the spirit". I agree, it's very difficult to price anything that cannot be measured, doubly so when attempting to price an illusory product. I'm sure the vatican feels that they are doing the world a tremendous service, and that they do not possess the funds required to completely fulfill their obligations, lol, hell, we're getting "salvation" on the cheap.

RE: Robbing people blind.. for Jesus, of course.
One night late at night I happened to be channel surfing when I came across the Crouches. They had some guy on there claiming that there were all these backwards messages in rock & roll albums. I honestly thought this was an old program from the 80's. I mean, first of all, I thought they were long over this "backwards Satanic message" fad. Secondly, the guy had a hairstyle I hadn't seen since the 80's. Lastly, all the rock albums they were listening to were old albums from the 70's and early 80's. I mean, when's the last time you've listened to Electric Light Orchestra? And while I like the Eagles, I do realize that they haven't recorded anything new since the 70's. But no, this was a current program in the early or mid-2000's. I do remember laughing at that lady's elaborate hairdo and pasted on makeup.

I think if they were to listen to some of the raunchy forward lyrics to rap & hip hop music, they'd forget all about this evil Satanic backward message thing.

What I said is true, Salvation comes through faith in Christ and not works, works however are proof of what you believe. Simple really.
