In fact, its best he plays them, before they DO look horrible compared to newer games he may play, if that makes sense.

I do love Minecraft, though it somehow kills my pc. I've heard that there's a free classic version that's way easier on performance. It lacks many features, but you could try that one out to get a feel for the game and decide if you want to buy the full version.

Also, I am not pretending to be female, this profile picture is my wonderful girlfriend. XD

I got hold of a game called "Halo" .
It will play ,but I get a warning saying I do not have enough RAM or virtual memory. I have have 8Gb RAM,and increased the virtual memory from around 8000 mb to 12000 mb,with a max of 15000. How much do I need?

8GB is more than enough. It's likely that the game is not correctly detecting how much memory you have.

Ah does it matter? IE Will the RAM be available for the game. --Seems to play OK.
I have a feeling this may be a common problem,in which a case there might be a fix. I'll look around.

You don't want to be increasing your paging file for gaming unless you only have 4GB or less of RAM. If I had 8GB, I'd probably turn my paging file entirely off to increase speed by forcing my PC to use actual RAM.

Sorry, have no idea what you are talking about.
So far I have several. I quite like Halo and one about William Wallace, but not one about the Pilgrims. Next one is called "Deus-Ex", which seems pretty good. I think that will do for a bit.
