Sorry sparrows, however my statement stands.

Does it?

I have to assume that you've read my response (since it's immediately above Phil's), and yet you chose to not respond to it.

Your statement (more correctly, assertion) is unsupported. Care to support it? If you don't, that's fine, but realize that it stands only as an unevidenced assertion and can be treated as such. I presume you know what that means (i.e. it means that your statement doesn't stand at all).

To DT and carnavon: You cant prove your faith in something by disproving something that challenges it. Faith is not based on proof anyways. They have proof.

The BuyBull is a fucking lie,
Fucking lie, fucking lie.
The BuyBull is a fucking lie,
And DeeTee is full of shit.

He believes every thing it says,
Thing it says, thing it says.
He believes every thing it says,
Even though it is a fucking lie.

His ignorance is sad to see,
Sad to see, sad to see.
His ignorance is sad to see,
Let us hope he never breeds.

The BuyBull is a fucking lie,
Fucking lie, fucking lie.
The BuyBull is a fucking lie,
And DeeTee is full of shit.

Inventive and remarkably accurate, though the scansion needs a little work. Wink
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I have zero respect for your ridiculous unsubstantiated beliefs. And I have no respect for a book that tells me it's perfectly permissable to own slaves. Your "holy book" is full of babble. And I will continue to refer to it as such.
Science flies us to the moon and stars. Religion flies us into buildings.

God allowed 200,000 people to die in an earthquake. So what makes you think he cares about YOUR problems?

Then expect no respect in return.

Since God's objective is not eternal life here on earth, how do you expect people to join God?

The Bible is very clear--it is appointed unto man once to die thenthe judgment' Unless you hit the rapture you are going to die, it is part of the rules.

Science hasn't done a thing. God given intelligence, God created mathematics, physics, etc. God given will, God provided thenatural resources to make the rockets andon it goes.

Science hasn't done one thing as science as a being does not exist but is run by those who were granted their abilities by God.

We don't have a book for you to insult, Arch. Life can be so unfair!

Even by your low standards that is incredibly stupid. You have never demonstrated a shred of evidence that your god...or any god...exists. Yet you attribute all sorts of gifts to it. Square one. Provide evidence for your beliefs or be prepared to have them dismissed for the drivel they are.
It explains, for example, why the moon revolves around the Earth and not the sun

Gravity didn't do this. God put the moon in place then created gravity to hold it there. You attribute to gravity what God did.
Unsubstantiated bullshit.
Thanks for the laugh. Evolution doesn't have one shred of evidence supporting it. it is all conjecture, assumption, wishful thinking.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take a science course at your local community college! Then you woun't look like such a fool spouting crap like this.
Evolution is accepted by practically everyone in the scientific community

Good thing that the truth doesn't require a majority vote or rule.
No, it doesn't. Except that evolution has stood the test of time. No one has been able to falsify it even after 150+ years!
The truth is the truth even when no one believes it.
Said without a hint of irony.
By the way, why would you listen to a bunch of people who were not at the origin of the world & life, who look at very partial evidence and make declarations without hope of verification?
I agree! Why would you?
Apparently, you've never been to a Natural History museum, read a scholarly journal, attended a scientific symposeum or been to a library

Insults will get you no where.
Well, have you ever been to a Natural History museum, read a scholarly scientific journal, attended a scientific symposium or been to a library? By the way.... "nowhere" is one word, not two.
Here is a question: WHY would you listen to a bunch of men who do not care about you
And whether or not a scientist "cares about you" is important.... why?
who make mistakes,
Yes, people make mistakes. Unlike your deity who never makes mistakes. Except for that whole thing where he fucked up and had to flood the planet and start over.
who change what they believe,
Yes, scientists will make errors. Which is why their findings are published and reviewed by their peers.
do not care about you,
This is the second time you've mentioned this. And it matters ... why?
and removes any hope you may have had OVER a divine all powerful being who was at creation, who knows what took place, does not make mistakes, does not sin, who does care about you and instills hope in you?
More unsubstantiated bullshit.
murder is not subjective like evolution
Evolution is not subjective. Yeesh.
and it doesn't change like the theory does from year to year.
Evolutionary theory changes from year to year? Really? So tell me what's different about evolutionary theory in 2012 as compared to 2011.
another terrible example. we know that fire exists, we have seen it, felt it, watched it work and we know that houses exist because we see them built, we live in them work on them etc. BUT for evolution, the evolutionist still hasnot produce the actual process, cannot prove it actually exists
And as usual, you're wrong. Take a science course sometime. You might actually learn something.
no one has ever touched it, felt it, saw it work, but they declare it exists even though what they claim took place left no real evidence and relies upon hearsay, conjecture, assumption, wishful thinking.
I need to get a shovel. The bullshit is getting deep.
If you didn't observe it, how do you know your deity created the Earth and the universe?

First, we do not need evidence,
Wow. So you believe unsubstantiated tales without a shred of evidence. Incredible.
God requires people to take His word BY FAITH.
More unsubstantiated bullshit.
Second, if you love God then 1 Cor. 13 says if you love someone you believe them. Demanding evidence is not believing them but showing doubt and disbelief. God said He did it then that is enough for me.
"God said"? Don't you mean "the people who wrote the Babble CLAIM God said"?
Third, we have evidence just in case someone's faith gets weak.
ROFLOL
We have ancient civilization creation accounts
That vary from civilization to civilization. If a deity truly created everything, I would expect the creation stories of different civilizations to be the same.
, we have plant, animal, human nurseries aiding reproduction and it is done exactly like God initiated it in the beginning.
This makes no sense at all.
We have the sun, the moon and the stars right where God said they would be doing the job He gave them to do.
Really? And what is "the job" of galaxies, stars and planets that we can't see?
We have all the evidence evolution has NONE.
And where is this "evidence"?

I'll finish responding to the rest of this crappola later.

Science flies us to the moon and stars. Religion flies us into buildings.

God allowed 200,000 people to die in an earthquake. So what makes you think he cares about YOUR problems?
