Oh IDK Poetess, people like to get dressed up and bullshit each other about how successful or happy or decent they are regardless. I bet they wouldn't lose as many parishioners as one might hope. Plenty of folks banging their heads against the pews do it out of tradition alone.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

The fuckers already have a problem with attendance.

We just need to keep up the pressure by existing as an alternative to their silly bullshit.

That's just disgusting I have absolutely no respect for these nutbags anymore whatsoever.
What's crazier is they don't accept children from IVF but they do the ones concieved from rape.
Apparently children concieved from rape is not immoral because they where concieved the natural way or way "God intended".
Just look they even have a special appreciation tours for those because they where not aborted:

So, they'll go to the greatest lengths to keep women from having abortions and using birth control. But when a woman actually WANTS to have a baby, and by any means necessary, she gets fired?!
Sounds more like a war on logic to me
Don’t ask.

This isn't just an example of the war on science, it's the War on Freedom (as well as the War on Reproductive Rights).
"Sisters, you know only the north; I have traveled in the south lands. There are churches there, believe me, that cut their children too, as the people of Bolvangar did--not in the same way, but just as horribly. They cut their sexual organs, yes, both boys and girls; they cut them with knives so that they shan't feel. That is what the Church does, and every church is the same: control, destroy, obliterate every good feeling. So if a war comes, and the Church is on one side of it, we must be on the other, no matter what strange allies we find ourselves bound to."

Ok, so here's the thing I've never understood about believers: if you are willing to stretch your mind into believing in miracles, that there is an omnipotent god, that the earth is about 6000 years old etc etc, why can't you for everyone's sake convince yourself that your brilliant god came up with IVF, to answer the prayers of childless women and so forth? (I know that there are some who do, and even though it's annoying, it is at least better than the alternative, I think..)
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Because they think that if you are childless, that is god's will, and IVF is using evil science to circumvent his will. You've got to remember, these are people that believe that understanding and manipulating the world through science is inherently evil, until of course they need cancer treatment.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Luckily, those have a short shelf-life.
