God is almost omnipotent. He has many limits.

What dumbass.\

Absolute power is not what is in question. For God has absolute power to accomplish anything in His will, any way His Chraracter demands it. What is being questioned here God's obligation to use absolute power in accordance to your understanding of the doctrine of omnipotence.

Xtians fucking kill me! When they describe their deity they remind me of my ex and his dungeons & dragons friends discussing their newest characters over cold pizza. Then when I sit there puzzled at their arguments for their imaginary beings, they tell me I wouldn't understand because I'm not a D&D nerd.

I am so fucking sick of christians being condescending little shit heads! Telling people they can't understand your deity because we don't worship/believe in your deity is a cheap, retarded fucking cop out. Most of us did believe in your pathetic, logically impossible deity at one point in our lives, so please spare us the bullshit.

If your god does exist, then he's the biggest fucking prick in existence, and there is no excuse for him whatsoever. I mean, keep defending him if you want. Roll the D20 and see if you can get a higher ability score, reference the book that supposedly reveals him, interpret the shit however you please... it's amusing, really, but stop insulting our intelligence with this "you don't understand because you're not a christian" garbage.

Otherwise, this thread is endless LOLs with all the "God is this, God is actually that" stuff. You know what god really is?

A fucking figment of your shallow and unoriginal imaginations.

Had to be said, sorry. Carry on.

So a few years of sunday school has given you a complete understanding of the revealed nature of God?

I have dedicated nearly every single day for the last 20 years to this and I have not even began to scratch the surface. Yet you speak/write as if you judging from a position of complete comperhension. Please save me another 20 years of my own foolish efforts, and share where this sunday school was and who taught it. because the general Atheist here, has at best a catholic based understanding of God which is not consistent with the biblical account. That is why they are consumed with principles like the Omni aspects of God, Earning righteousness, Popular Morality, and how they use it to judge God.

You've wasted your life trying to better understand crappy myths, and I'm supposed to feel inferior because??????????????????

It's clear you're not here to actually discuss anything. You're here to postulate about your own delusions of personal grandeur and to express yourself in a circular, unreasonable fashion.

You believe yourself to be an authority on all things biblical, but how could that be so? A person who really understands the bible dismisses it for what it actually is- a book written a long time ago by tards who thought stars were but holes in the firmament, and a collaborative plagiarism of more interesting and inspiring tall tales. Now admit that, and I'll say, "Damn, Drich! You really know your bible!". Until then, you're not saying anything remotely impressive of believable to anyone with a functioning brain.

The above bold was a belief of the Babylonians and Egyptians long before the Hebrew nation was formed.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

And how is that relevant to the discussion?

And we don't take their beliefs seriously either.

Your not supposed to "feel" anything. An objective person would look at their total experience for what it is. a childs understanding of what is being discussed. One that you have based your whole life on. One that you believe gives you enough knoweledge and authority to challenge whom ever that does not follow your anger and hate you have. However a person who is driven by intollerance and hate often difers to emotion to give them the drive to accomplish what reason and understanding could not.

If you are not ready or able to discuss the content of the bible then perhaps, you shouldn't feign the effort.

I felt bemused. If I'm not supposed to "feel" that, then you're gonna have to stop being so condescending while saying stupid things.

Coherent sentences might serve you better when you're pretending you're wise.

Quote:One that you have based your whole life on.

Do enlighten me about the profound knowledge you have about my life and what I base it on.

Quote:One that you believe gives you enough knoweledge and authority to challenge whom ever that does not follow your anger and hate you have.

I challenge whomever I disagree with, at my leisure. I'm not angry, and the only things I hate are harmful things, so I can't help but hope others would follow my hatred for them.

Quote:However a person who is driven by intollerance and hate often difers to emotion to give them the drive to accomplish what reason and understanding could not.

LOL You can't spell for shit! Just sayin'.

If a person is already being driven by intolerance and hatred, why would they then need other emotions to drive them to accomplish something? Isn't hatred an emotion? Isn't intolerance the fruit of hatred, and is understanding not the cure? You're just tossing word salad around, sir. And most of it's misspelled.

I hit the nail on the head with that one, I know. Wink

If you're not ready to answer valid and relative questions posed by the members of these forums, and all you can do is stroke yourself off, maybe you're god.

That's because you are a christian and have that idiot faith that there must be an infinitiy beneath the sickening, self glorifying bombastic surface.

We look and judge from a different perspective using techniques with demonstrated power to penetrate the surface. And it is not that we didn't find anything beneath. We found there is nothing beneath.
