Actually, the math text books are wrong. They say that Pi=3.14159...

In fact, Pi=3

The Lord says so.

RE: The trinity
You had to use an absurd example, Chad, because your holy book, which may well have had some sacred relevance for its mystery cult when it first crept out from under the shadows of all the religions from which it stole its influences, is now nothing more than a storybook and yet christians continue to venerate it. Put it this way: If we were to still be holding up The Origin of Species as THE sole and ultimate reference on evolutionary biology, we would be ridiculous-and it is nowhere near as out of date as the fairytales christians continue to alternately cling to literally or insist must be taken with a heavy dose of interpretation.

Then why read it at all? I don't have a herd of goats in my back yard.

Well, I still read The Iliad, Min, but at least I know it is a work of fiction ...

But the Iliad is an interesting story.....and it isn't always threatening to kill you every time you turn a page.

Okay. So why aren't you trying to convert people then?

You are not a believer.
I didn't reject it, I just stopping believing in the nonsense. Well obviously your god, if its real, doesn't care about my future either way.

Careful now...you're knocking on the door of purdition. Hopefully, you're rejecting the wording and not the Spirit behind the text.

He's as close to rational as inmates of the Asylum of Christianity ever come.

If that's not scary, I don't know what is.
