Why did God create the universe?

We will probably never be able to see or prove that the 4th dimension exists, but we can still get a glimpse of what God/it is like by studying our 3d world.

The observable universe exists in 4 dimensions. Try again.

Cool, I didn't know that. What website/book did you read this in? I would like to read about it.
The Bible was meant to be read in context, as a whole narrative, not in fragments.

4th dimension = time.

I guess there are two theoretical groups on the topic Minkowski spacetime and Euclidean space. I guess I was talking about Euclidean space, a 4th vector added to the 3 we have (Height, Depth, and Width). Spacetime is not Euclidean.

I dusted off my Bible and read the parts concerning the creation of Earth and here's what I got out of it:

1. Gen 1:1
2. Gen 1:21
3. Gen 1:25
4. Gen 1:29-30

I figure, since you're not "lazy" like we are, you can look them up yourself. : )

Gen.1:1-5 This is day one, God created time, space and the elements.
Gen.1:20-23 This is the 5th day, God created all creatures of the water and air, this creation is of self awareness, not necessarily their bodies.
Gen.1:24-31 This is the 6th day, God created Adam and Eve, not necessarily the body or self awareness, God created the soul, for man to have the ability to know Him.
I'm not sure why you gave the verses 29 and 30. You have come closer to seeing what God did create and what God _ _ _ _. Let me say this I'm not concerned about Thor's little bugs in this, the reason they exist came later and for a specific reasons, these bugs may not have even existed before the flood. Now after you quit laughing at me see about filling in the blank, it is in the first chapter of Genesis. Oh, I did read the verses and more than those.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

I really don't mean to be rude, but I just realized you're truly crazy. The levels of cognitive dissonance are astounding... I don't think anything I'd ever say would convince you and I remain unconvinced; therefore, this is no longer an argument.

The only reason this is no longer an argument is you can't find what is setting in front of your face in the 1st chapter of Genesis.

Do you have any idea how long ago the '4th vector' was added? Do you know what a vector is or are you just now spouting a word you read in Wikipedia?

You have absolutely no idea who Euclid was/is....do you? Minkowski spacetime....ha ha ha. Don't you recall from secondary school that you could not use an encyclopedia as a direct reference for papers? Encyclopedias are very useful for general knowledge and a means for learning where to find definitive sources, but vomiting Euclid and Minkowski without a mention of Newton and Einstein betrays you.

Let me guess...

The rib story in the second chapter of Genesis doesn't conflict with the simultaneous creation of man and woman in the first chapter; it just 'clarifies' it. Do you think, despite the fact that he could not have been an eye witness, that Moses wrote both the first and second chapters in Genesis?

Since we're on the topic of Genesis; I've always been curious as to why an omniscient being would post a cherub guard at the Tree of Life after 'the fall', but didn't consider the Tree of Knowledge a similar threat before 'the fall'.

And your evidence for the claim that single celled creatures didn't exist before the flood(another event for which you have no evidence)?

And if you could be so good as to share with the rest of the class you little secret.(just had a look at gen 1 again, still nothing).
