Conspiracy Theorists (Or Conspiracy Nuts :P)

NoMoreFaith Wrote:It always seems to me that conspiracy theorists have way too much faith in the human ability to organise on a mass scale and keep a secret.

And when you try to explain this to them, it only reinforces their idea that those behind the conspiracies are all-powerful.

I'm a member of another forum and in a constant debate with a nut case who is a follower of Alex Jones. His depth of gullibility is unbelievable. When presented with evidence or even common sense that contradicts his posts he says that I and others that debate him are either gullible or working with the New World Order.

The only conspiracy theory is the theory of there being conspiracies, the founding fathers themsevles said to watch the government for wrong doing. The NWO isn't a conspiracy, in fact it's even talked about on live t.v. in order to get you used to the idea. As for history, well if you accepted your standard history text books and 100% facts. You are no smarter than a drunk who watches FOX news everyday. I could go on and on but it won't make a difference regardless even if I explained in detail. Just realize one thing, what seperates us from dictatorous governments isnt our polotics. It's the fact we don't have soldiers policing the streets and that is changing very fast.

Call us crackpots, paranoid freaks or w/e you want. When the time come's you realize you're in shit, it's way to late for you.

Read some of this bs if you dare, or maybe you fear actually discovering something, truth is stranger than fiction. Ps. turn the t.v. off it makes you stupid.

The reptilians is a false notion by idiots saying they are alien's. Every culture and religion depicts or describes demons, dragons, or reptiles. The reptilians are simply the people who beleive in the annunaki religious text that are a real thing. That say basically the opposite of every religion, that we should fear god and his messengers for they are evil. The reptilians and atleast what ive heared claimed by nutcases are simply the followers of an evil god and demons. ps. in the books it says they raped our wemon and preformed genetic experiments not in those words exactly. If you are an idiot you cannot read the religious text properly simply because you do not realize people talked back then through symbolism, think of using pictures to explain something. Im not saying I beleive in reptile aliens coming to earth, im saying there are people who really do beleive it and use it as a religion.

The parallels between conspiracy theorists and fundamentalist christian is especially stark here.

I dared. I yawned. I cringed at the amount of conjecture written as fact.

If you’re going to watch tele, you should watch Scooby Doo. That show was so cool because every time there’s a church with a ghoul, or a ghost in a school. They looked beneath the mask and what was inside?
The f**king janitor or the dude who runs the waterslide. Throughout history every mystery. Ever solved has turned out to be. Not Magic.

To be fair, narrow mindedness is also a christian trait which you posses. Not so far off the chain either eh pal?

Aah, the old You don't believe in an unsubstantiated claim, therefore you are narrow minded attack. That's still the typical fundy answer also I'm afraid.

No. It's called skepticism, not only are we skeptical of what is presented, but we are skeptical of what you present without evidence.

You should turn that quote upon yourself and consider introspection.

lol, and why should I do everything for you? I could do days of research and I could put it all together in a big fancy presentation, but it wont matter. At the end you will never beleive me, because you never looked into it yourself.

And no, it was an old. You never did the research or even bothered to look into it and make sure it wasn't real.

If I happend to have some religious fundelmentalist traits, so be it. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree and atheist have only recently become accepted. If anything we all carry traits of our religious brethren because we arent yet far removed from them. There is no god, so there is no punishment for your sins, now tell me how many you break? How many anti god acts have you commited?
