A title that more than one of you has claimed in our discussions. In this sense of the word 'devoute' means to be unyeildingly faithful so long as it serves me to hold these beliefs. Once serving myself and my needs came to it's useful end my devotion (much like many claims to be 'truly christian') came to an end.

I hear what you are saying and agree that if God exists, no one ignorant of God and the wrongness of her actions should get hell as a result, especially when heaven is no possibility. But as long as we are imagining, why limit your imagination to just heaven and hell? Catholics, for example, believe in a third destination called Purgatoy. Most end up there, they believe, and all eventually leave there and exit to heaven.
