My son got me Rome 2 and I just tried to install it and my computer does not recognise the disc has been put in. I put in other discs in the drive and it's fine. I put the Rome 2 disc in other computers and it works. I also changed the drive same problem. I checked the region on drives and they are the same on all computers.

Does anyone have any ideas of what might be wrong?

I hope their tech support works. From what I have been reading about the game at TWC it seems to be something of a disappointment.

I think I'll wait until the modders have some time to fix it up.

They've already patched it once and it apparently needs a lot more work. I'll give this a pass. Hopefully the modders will fix it up.

Last I heard they were up to Patch #5 and there is already a mod out for it.

When they get to Patch #10 I'll buy it.

Hadn't seen it. Like I said, I imagine I'm a month away from actually buying it and I resent the DLC marketing ploy. I usually just play the Romans anyway.

The Greeks bore the shit out of me and the barbarians smell bad.
