Science proves that you should un-friend your ex on Facebook

I always unfriend ex-girlfriends. We aren't having sex anymore, so she means nothing to me.

I am not friends with my ex-boyfriend from 5 years ago. It took breaking up with him to realize how fucking stupid and ignorant and small-minded he was, and I'm not interested in him, his new wife and baby, or their recent "finding of Jesus" and a 6000-year old worldview. I am, however, still friends with his sister, mother and father.

I still have many ex-lovers in the ensuing period between then and now as friends on FB and G+. It doesn't seem to much bother my current boyfriend. I think because he has a sense of self-esteem and knows I don't tolerate "I wish I still had you!" bullshit.

This seems a little harsh. Is there nothing else you see in relationships with women?

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

Tinkety Tonk and down with the Nazis.

No. Why is that harsh? It's just my sexual preference.

You're a "Wham, bam, thank you ma'am." Sort of guy. Not harsh, as long as both parties understand what they're signing up for.

Women don't really ask whether or not the relationship will be long and deeply intimate, so there's no reason for me to tell her.

Now that is kind of sleezy. One night stands are fine, I think a lot of people have them in western culture. So unless you're talking random bar hookups... and if that's all you've had, then you've got issues, sir.

Wait, polygamy is okay, but casual sex isn't?
Only on Atheist Forums...

Anything is okay, as long as both parties (or more as the case may be) are clear as to what the terms and agreements are. I haven't voiced an opinion on polygamy, for the record.
