If you had even bothered to check the banning log, you would've seen that we ban everyone who deserves to, atheists, deists and theists alike. You might no see the warnings we deal out, but everyone who deserves to get warned gets his or hers fair share. And wouldn't you know, behaving nicely every now and then might actually save you from an insta-ban, but you have yet to show that you are a sensible and nice person.
Oh, sorry, I forgot, it's all the nasty atheists' fault that you are a bigoted, pompous, insolent, indolent, self-righteous, hate-mongering piece of human being.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

I guess it was god that told him to come here and ostracise the main community. How is that working for ya BlackRook?

I'm kind of surprised that nobody has stated the obvious, which is the what he is saying is NOT TRUE to start with. Atheists weren't responsible for the reign of terror. In fact the very thing he links only makes one reference to atheism as part of a very small anti-clerical campaign. Robespierre himself was opposed to Atheism, called it one of three evils in the world, executed Atheists during the reign of terror. Initiated the worship of a supreme being and had blood filled festivals to him. In fact both of the starters of the Atheist movement during the french revolution were promptly executed.
Somehow though this gets blamed on Atheism? Maybe you should do a little more reading.

Hey, I guess in a sense I got to see one "boob."
And now I'm talking to myself.

This thread would be quite amusing if not for the fact that things like Blackrook actually exist outside the Internet.

I was about to bring this up, lol. The Reign of Terror was politically motivated (and motivated by the starving citizens!); the Catholic Church sided with the state instead of the people. It even goes on to talk about it in the wiki article that OP posted himself. Roflroflroflroflrofl

When I started reading htis thread I thought "Wow, Blackrook finally said something with a grain of truth in it, even if his interpretation is fatally biased". Now, I'm rethinking even that. Has he said anything factually accurate? It's also obvious that he hasn't so much as skimmed any of the articles I presented... Wow, I just realized, I use ellipses a lot. I wonder why...

No, he hasn't said anything factually accurate, and he never will, and then he'll keep bitching about his FEEEEEELIIIIIIINGS that nobody here gives a fuck about.
He comes to a forum tailored to atheists and starts posting links stating how evil atheism is and wonders why atheists are such dicks to him. It's a big fucking mystery, we need to get Holmes on the case!

Considering that everything he's said is a lie, and we've shown this, the real mystery is why he still thinks he's right. He seems to be a bit schizoid; one moment he's playing the martyr card and the next he's mocking us saying that if we ban him he will have 'won' and 'proven' us to be intolerant. No christian forum would tolerate this from an atheist for a second. I'm starting to get the feeling that he wants to get banned...
