Tried a few religions and higher powers... haven't found a currently universally acceptable definition of god yet.

It seems to be just an extension of self, an individual visualisation. A superficial divisive belief.

I'm an atheist because, although science cannot and does not claim to know everything in the universe just now, I cannot conceive of and have never heard of one single convincing reason why the answer to the gaps in our current knowledge is God.

Why? Because the Bible is a fiction, written by some unknown author or authors ca 2000 years go. But I can play long over holidays such as Christmas and easter as who doesn't mind extra days off from work or school? any why?

I'm really glad you did the historical research to come to this conclusion.

Did you work with a historian or anthropologist to make this conclusion, or are you another idiot atheist who professes an opinion on a subject without any knowledge as to the academic work done on the subject.
